I don't know why the video quality sucks so much.. it's way better on youutube :/ [link]
This is the results of 6 weeks work in our first actual 3D class. We were told to create a child room with specified furniture such as, one teddy bear, a chair, a train that has to be animated etc etc.
What took the most energy was to solve problems related to maya crashing, bluescreens and such. After installing windows 7 and an older version of maya instead of the 2011 edition (to many bugs) it all went on much smoother.
My inspiration came from the game dream chronicles, the hobbit-home pluss some interiour detail used by vikings.
I'm quite happy about the results, but if I got to do it al over again I would have created a more realistic room in the terms of style. This would have left more time to make a more life like lighting and less time in designing the interior.
I'm pretty much a noob in maya, but learning fast much thanks to my classmates who always helps out when there's a problem and no teacher in sight... Which was more often than it would have been.
Special tnks to Robert Carlsson who made the music just for my room, tnks a bunch man <3
To all my classmates who gave me handy feedback and tips.
And to the guys in third class who came and helped us second graders with maya problems and smart tips. Really, thankyou
programs used, maya, nuke, premier pro and photoshop.
